Resumen
Introducción:
Las enfermedades crónicas alteran el desarrollo social, emocional y físico de una persona, lo que afectara la forma como esta enfrenta su condición. Los jóvenes con diabetes mellitus tipo 1 deben adaptarse a esta situación en un periodo donde buscan su identidad y autonomía por lo que es importante conocer la percepción que estos tienen sobre su diabetes.
Chronic diseases alter a person's social, emotional and physical development, affecting the way it faces his condition. Young people with type 1 diabetes mellitus must adapt to this situation in a period where they seek their identity and autonomy so it is important to know their perception of their diabetes.
